Scalp Rejuvenation + Phototherapy
Phototherapy is a treatment that uses certain types of light including laser and narrowband UVB. We use various types for specific purposes at TrichoSpa. Laser for stimulating hair follicles and for hair loss treatments and narrowband UVB for addressing issues such as dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, eczema or psoriasis.

UVB Phototherapy

Phototherapy is a treatment that uses certain types of light called narrowband UVB.
Studies show that this type of therapy can slow rapidly growing skin cells, suppress an overly active immune system, reduce inflammation and allow the skin to heal, reduce or eliminate the itch. It can be a complementary treatment for scalp psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, eczema or dandruff.

For optimal effectiveness, treatments should be 2-3 times a week.

Low Level Laser (COMING SOON)

Laser light targets the stem cells at the base of hair follicles. By treating the base of hair follicles, the cold laser we use at TrichoSpa for hair growth treatment ensures the mitochondria of hair cells is stimulated. The mitochondria then produces cell energy that is harnessed by hair follicles which can stimulate and improve growth. This therapy is combined with stem cell released molecules. Stem cells are located in the epidermis and hair follicle ensure the maintenance of adult skin homeostasis and hair regeneration.

Scalp Microneedling

These treatments improves blood flow and circulation and stimulates hair growth by inducing collagen synthesis and stem cell production. It involves microneedling with application of scalp serums and is ideal for clients with thinning hair and/or hair loss. This therapy is combined with stem cell released molecules. Stem cells are located in the epidermis and hair follicle ensure the maintenance of adult skin homeostasis and hair regeneration.

A series of 6-8 treatments is recommended as part of a protocol for various types of hair loss.
